If elected, the four main areas I will focus on are:

1.) Defending parents’ rights and families.  Parents are the primary stakeholders in their child’s upbringing and they should be able to access all information about their children in school.

2.) Being that strong and friendly voice for parents and students by honoring the state’s constitution’s demand that our public schools deliver high-quality basic education to all Oak Harbor children.

3.) Bringing transparency to curricula.  Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) is one of the greatest assaults on the health and innocence of children. This is because unlike traditional sex education, comprehensive sexuality education is highly explicit and promotes promiscuity and high-risk sexual behaviors to children as healthy and normal. I believe that parents have the right to be educated on this type of curriculum and know what material is being taught to their children regarding sexual health.

4.) Bringing education back to the local level and keeping it out of the hands of unelected bureaucrats.  I will fight against state and federal mandates that take away the voices of Oak Harbor citizens in our schools.
